Nick currently serves as the UK Managing Director of the Christeyns UK group of companies covering everything from food hygiene chemicals, through laundry products, dry cleaning technologies and even specialist construction chemical products.
A very strong advocate of “Process thinking” and applying this to all aspects of the work place, these principles are clear to see within Christeyns Bradford and how they have brought positive benefits to the business and the people within the business. This has been developed in his career from his beginnings as an apprentice engineer through positions in sales and senior management in blue chip companies.
Nick was appointed Vice President of Bradford Chamber of Commerce in July 2015 and also sits on the Board of the “Producer City”, an initiative set up by the Council, University and Chamber. Although having been born in London, after over 35 years in the county he considers himself an honorary Yorkshireman and is proud of the developments and achievements of all members of the Christeyns UK family.
Graham joined the company in 1993 bringing with him valuable experience in production and general management within the dairy industry. As Sales Director, he leads a highly motivated sales and technical team which has seen the business grow 15% year on year, even through the challenges of a constantly evolving food industry.
Through Graham's experience and reputation gained in the Hygiene industry, he leads an outstanding team who are able to deliver hygiene solutions to the major multiples which incorporate training, electronic technical management systems and BRC. The team are committed to exceeding customer expectations while adding real value by reducing customer spend and improving customer service through their knowledge, professionalism and integrity within the industry.
Andy first joined the company in 2001 bringing with him considerable experience as an engineering manager and expert knowledge of the dairy industry, where Christeyns Food Hygiene dominate in this market.
As Operations Director, his expertise lies in improving the operational efficiency of our Warrington manufacturing facility. In particular, Andy is expert at advising companies how their operations can be streamlined to save time and money.
Andy’s expertise and experience has cemented his reputation as an authority on industrial hygiene operations. He is able to respond to any issues relating to operational efficiency, including manufacturing, logistics, engineering and management systems.
Senior Chemist and Regulatory Affairs Manager
A highly-qualified chemist with more than 35 years’ experience in the chemical industry, Mike is ideally positioned to comment on a wide range of issues relating to the chemical and technical side of Christeyns Food Hygiene operations in the UK and Ireland.
In addition to overseeing day-to-day production matters such as quality control, the evaluation of raw materials, product formulations and advances, Mike’s expertise is regularly called upon to help resolve customers’ issues.
As such, Mike is able to respond to any questions relating to development and manufacture of chemical solutions, the legislation and regulation surrounding industrial hygiene and issues relating to the environment.
Peter has been involved in the food processing industry throughout his career in a range of hygiene, technical and production management positions where he earned an enviable reputation due to his “can do” attitude and an unshakable dedication to food safety. Through his work as a Senior Food Safety Officer within the environmental health service he helped to shape food hygiene legislation injecting a degree of commercial awareness into this sector.
In more recent times, Peter has developed a reputation for innovation and training readily taking on new challenges and issues that have presented themselves to the food processing / manufacturing sector. Nowhere is this more evident than in the arena of allergen management where he is a go to source of information and enthusiasm by retailers, auditors, legislators and food processors. Now leading the Christeyns Food Hygiene technical team, Peter continues to innovate and stimulate interest in food safety across our customer base and beyond.
Training Academy Manager
Amanda joined the company in 2013 bringing with her over 20 years’ experience in the food manufacturing industry.
Amanda has a background and knowledge working in the chilled and ambient sector along with her previous roles at various sites in Hygiene and Technical positions. Amanda is a trained ISO and BRC auditor which has led her to gain a vast amount of insight on how factories and catering establishments operate. Her knowledge is an advantage to our customers as she can assist with any technical or hygiene issues on site.
Amanda leads our UK Training Academy offering Royal Society of Public Health, Highfields & CPD Accredited courses on HACCP, Food Safety and she is a registered Trainer with the RSPH. Clients benefit from Amanda’s bespoke training courses as they can be tailored to specific sites.
