New BRC Global Food Standard Issue 7 out now.

The British Retail Consortium (BRC) has now made available the latest version of its Global Standard for Food Safety (Issue 7) in readiness for full implementation, and auditing against, from July 1st 2015.  Through its newly launched Participate programme ( both the Global Standard and the interpretation Guidelines are being made available at the same time.

Klenzan has authored a guide focusing on the main changes with particular reference to our area of expertise – Hygiene and Housekeeping. In addition the guide provides a summary of the main changes or newly introduced requirements such as undertaking vulnerability assessments and provides links to supporting documents to aid with the transition between issues of this highly significant food safety standard.
